    THAT the report dated April 10, 2023, from the Engineering and Operations Department – Project Delivery Services Division regarding Urban Forest Management Strategy – Draft Report Update be received for information.

Report: City Manager, dated April 3, 2023

  • Recommendation(s):


    THAT the projects in the 2019-2022 Council Strategic Plan Outstanding Project list be omitted from the Corporate Project Plan, as recommended in the report dated April 3, 2023, from the City Manager regarding the 2023 Corporate Project Plan;

    AND THAT the Corporate Project Plan outlined in the report dated April 3, 2023, from the City Manager regarding the 2023 Corporate Project Plan be received for information.

Report: Community Development Department – Policy Planning Division, dated March 15, 2023


The following was moved and seconded at the Regular Council meeting held on March 28, 2023 prior to being referred to the Strategic Priorities Committee; the motion will be on the table for consideration at the April 18, 2023, Strategic Priorities Committee:

THAT the following comments be provided to the Village of Belcarra regarding the community’s Draft Official Community Plan:

    • The City of Port Moody raises concerns over Belcarra's water system capacity and that this issue be addressed to ensure adequate fire response capability and that this occurs prior to proceeding with outlined changes to land use or increased development; and
    • The City of Port Moody raises concerns around the need for a comprehensive transportation plan to address traffic issues related to development, regional population growth and access to Belcarra Regional Park and surrounding areas and expresses interest in working together on these and other regional issues.

    THAT the report dated March 15, 2023, from the Community Development Department – Policy Planning Division regarding Request for Comments – Village of Belcarra Draft Official Community Plan be received for information.

Report: Engineering and Operations Department – Operations Division, dated April 4, 2023

  • Recommendation(s):


    THAT staff be directed to implement the improvement recommendations that utilize existing resources for the 2023-2024 winter season as recommended in the report dated April 4, 2023, from the Engineering and Operations Department – Operations Division regarding 2023 Mayor’s Town Hall on Snow and Ice Response Feedback Review and Action Plan.

    THAT the recommendations approved at the Strategic Priorities Committee meeting of April 18, 2023, be referred to the Special Council meeting of
    April 18, 2023, for ratification.
