Recommendation:

THAT the minutes of the Special Council (Committee of the Whole) meeting held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 be adopted.

Report: Planning and Development Department - Policy Planning Division, dated October 4, 2019

Recommendations:

THAT feedback be provided to staff regarding the scope considerations, including specific direction regarding key areas of the Official Community Plan that require review and what this review should consider, as outlined in the report dated October 4, 2019 from the Planning and Development Department – Policy Planning Division regarding Official Community Plan Review;

AND THAT staff report back with an updated scope of work, budget and draft engagement plan for an OCP review.

Report: Finance and Technology Department – Financial Services Division, dated October 2, 2019

Recommendation:

THAT staff be directed to apply for grant funding under the UBCM 2020 Community Resiliency Investment Program – FireSmart Community Funding and Supports as recommended in the report dated October 2, 2019 from the Finance and Technology Department – Financial Services Division regarding 2020 Community Resiliency Investment Program – FireSmart Community Funding and Supports.

Recommendation:

THAT the recommendations approved at the Committee of the Whole meeting of October 15, 2019 be ratified.
