    THAT City of Port Moody Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw, 2023, No. 3425 be read a first, second, and third time as recommended in the report dated September 26, 2023, from the Finance and Technology Department – Financial Services Division regarding 2024 Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw.

Report: Community Development Department – Development Planning Division

  • Recommendation(s):


    THAT Temporary Use Permit TUP00022 be authorized for renewal with a modified site plan for a final three-year period as recommended in the report dated September 26, 2023, from the Community Development Department – Development Planning Division regarding Temporary Use Permit Renewal – 3001 St. Johns Street (Marcon);

    AND THAT the Mayor and Corporate Officer be authorized to execute the necessary legal documents required in support of this application.

The following motion was served by Councillors Lubik and Agtarap at the September 12, 2023, Regular Council meeting:

THAT a policy be developed such that opportunities for transition,
low-income seniors, Indigenous or other supportive housing options be considered in all expansions, renovations, retrofits or newly constructed civic, fire or public safety related buildings. And that such a policy be developed in discussion with staff and first responders.
