Call to Order

Members of the public are welcome to join the open portion of the meeting; however, after Council passes a Resolution to Exclude the Public, the remainder of the meeting will be closed.

Territorial Land Acknowledgement

The City of Port Moody carries out our business on the ancestral and unceded homelands of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam),
Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), qʼʷa:n̓ ƛʼən̓ (Kwantlen), qiqéyt (Qayqayt),
and Stó:lō (Sto:lo) Peoples, and extends appreciation for the opportunity to work on this territory.

General Matters

3.1
Adoption of the Agenda

Recommendation:

THAT the agenda of the November 14, 2023, Special Council (to Close) meeting be adopted as circulated.

3.2
Resolution to Exclude the Public

Recommendation:
THAT, pursuant to section 90 of the Community Charter, this Special Meeting of Council be closed to the public as the subject matters being considered relate to the following:
- 90(1)(a) – personal information about an identifiable individual who holds or is being considered for a position as an officer, employee, or agent of the municipality or another position appointed by the municipality; and
- 90(1)(i) – the receipt of advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.
